Helping leaders build systems that actually serve people.

I collaborate with public service organizations and systems, municipalities and governmental agencies, community-based organizations, and corporations that truly want to serve people well—especially those in underserved, under-resourced, or marginalized communities. Not the ones chasing buzzwords or prettier presentations, but the ones ready to do the work. I bring strategy, operational clarity, and leadership coaching that turns complex challenges into sustainable, people-centered change.

Rooted in resilience. Grounded in purpose. Partnering with leaders delivering meaningful change.

About me

I’m a husband, father, and mission-driven leader who has spent nearly two decades helping organizations navigate complexity with clarity, discipline, and heart. Starting my career as a paraprofessional and rising to senior executive roles, I’ve learned that real transformation happens when people feel seen and systems are built to serve them well. Today, I partner with leaders across sectors to align vision with execution and drive meaningful, sustainable impact in the communities that need it most.I’m at my best helping leaders confront hard truths, make courageous decisions, and stay grounded in their values—especially in moments when the room gets quiet and the stakes get high.

Family & Why I Do This

My first and most important title is husband and dad. Amber and I are raising three incredible sons who remind me every day why the work matters. Every late-night board meeting, every tough decision, every courageous conversation about equity and opportunity comes back to them and to families like ours who simply want their children to be seen, safe, and positioned to thrive.

Service isn’t a side project for me—it’s a family value and a legacy in the making. The way I lead publicly is directly tied to the way I lead at home: with love, accountability, and an unwavering belief that we owe the next generation more than we received. That belief is why I do this.

Leadership Story

I didn’t begin my career with a title or a corner office—I began as a paraprofessional in 2006. From there, I worked my way through nearly every rung of the ladder: teacher, campus leader, central office administrator, Assistant Superintendent, Chief of Schools, and eventually Superintendent of Schools.

Those roles taught me how systems work, how to navigate the politics and pressures of public service, and most importantly—how to keep students, families, and communities at the center of every decision. My leadership now extends beyond K–12 into civic, nonprofit, and economic development work across Fort Worth and the region.
